Check-in
Through the Admin Panel the landlord will send out an invitation email to the tenant.

Monitoring & check-out
Easily monitor energy consumption, historical usage, and pricing.
When tenant checks out the remaining balance is returned back to their bank account and recieves a PDF receipt.
The tenant will immediately lose access.

Payment & Activating electricity
The tenant pre-pays via the portal to create their electricity balance. Then simply press "Turn ON" in the app and the power turns on.

Landlord gets paid
The landlord will receive their payment directly to their bank account.

How Payments are handled

Payment Process:
The tenant pays in advance to an electricity balance account using Visa or Mastercard. A minimum payment of 50 NOK is required. There is a fee of 2.4% + 2.00kr per transaction. The remaining amount, after deducting the transaction fee, is then transferred to a temporary holding account belonging to landlord.

Hourly balance updates:
Automated hourly deductions are made from the tenant's pre-paid electricity balance account. Hourly prices for the following day are generated by the system at 14:00 daily, retrieving electricity prices from Nordpool. Using these rates, the system calculates hourly consumption costs and deducts them from the tenant's pre-paid electricity balance account.

Customer Balance Monitoring:
When the tenant's prepaid electricity account reaches 0 NOK, the system automatically disables non-critical appliances in the rental home. Upon the tenant's departure from the rental, any remaining balance is refunded to the tenant, while the accrued electricity costs are transferred to the landlord.

Money Transfer Process:
The landlord receives the funds within 7 business days directly into their bank account. This straightforward payment method improves financial management for the landlord and ensures swift compensation for electricity usage in the rental property, resulting in a streamlined and efficient process.
